The Ministry of Finance has taken action against 39 government institutions in accordance with the directive. If there are issues with liability: We expect similar steps from the Ministry of Justice. We expect the Federal Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission to play a key role in identifying corruption and malpractices that are detrimental to institution building.

One of the promises made by Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva during his inauguration ceremony was that his government would fight theft and corruption. We expect all Ethiopians, including myself, to honor the Prime Minister's promise to the people. Ensuring that the promise is kept is when accountability becomes possible. No one is missing in this regard, This does not mean that there is no need for more commitment and positive action. We would like to express our sincere interest in establishing a legal framework that will ensure that leaders with persistent audit reports are not allowed to run for public office at any level.

Although not all funds and assets registered in audit are considered to have been consumed and misappropriated by individuals; However, we have also seen evidence that many institutions, even with huge foreign exchange earnings, have squandered their valuables on the ground. We have received information that significant public funds and assets have been used to finance the finances of individuals. A country and a people with so many problems can never bear the brunt of mismanagement and mismanagement of resources. In this regard, if we are to leave a mark on history, institutions need to be able to fulfill their traditional audit obligations by completing their audit findings. The managers and staff of the institutions also understand that a country is an institution; They must be present at this generational responsibility.

When will theft and corruption go away? If we do not stop, who will stop? We must all be ready to carry out the responsibilities entrusted to us by history and generations.
