Stakeholders need to work together

Addis Ababa:  Stakeholders should work to ensure that the companies that used to produce edible oil in the small industry do not leave the market, Ethiopian Enterprise Development said.

He also said that financial institutions should assist in delaying bureaucracy.

He said Ethiopian Enterprise Development is working with stakeholders to address the issue.

Oil companies that spoke to Fana Broadcasting Corporation asked for input and support.

He said if the government pays enough attention to the sector, efforts can be made to cover domestic consumption.

The investors also pointed out that it is possible to create more jobs and avoid foreign exchange.

India Investment Forum concludes

The Investment Forum held in India concluded with a memorandum of understanding signed by the Ethiopian Investment Commission and the Hariana City Administration Foreign Affairs Department.

The MoU was signed by Daniel Teresa, Deputy Commissioner of the Ethiopian Investment Commission on behalf of Ethiopia, and Yogender Chaudhari, Secretary-General of Foreign Affairs of Haryana City.

According to information obtained from the Industrial Parks Development Corporation, the MoU is a joint venture between the two parties to promote investment opportunities.

At the closing ceremony, the activities of industrial parks in Ethiopia and their priorities were presented to Haryana City Administration and the business community in India in the fields of Garment and Textile, Pharmaceutical and Agro-Industry Investments.
