Athlete Major Haile Gebreselassie said the people should be protected so as not to erode the culture of solidarity by creating religious and ethnic differences.

Athlete Haile also said that when the interests of the affected people are presented at the table and they do not win, they incite and divide the people by hiding behind religion and race.

Athlete Haile says I have never seen ethnic and religious conflicts in my area until recently. He said the current conflicts in various parts of the country were caused by the losers.

He stressed the need for the people to maintain a culture of unity, solidarity and solidarity that has not been misunderstood by these selfish individuals as they have been defeated by extremists and lost power.
