Addis Ababa City Administration conducted a meal sharing program at the Hope Light No. 5 food center on the occasion of Christmas.

The Tesfa Birhan Black 5 food center in Kirkos sub-city administration organized a meal sharing program for the homeless and vulnerable people on the occasion of Christmas today.

Addis Ababa City Administration Mayor Adanech Abebe attended the program in his speech; "It is an old tradition of our Ethiopians to share and eat what we have. Even today, when we celebrate Christmas, we should be sharing our love and unity with each other beyond the table," he said.

They also stated that the food sharing centers are an indication of how much the government is paying attention to people-oriented activities.

The program was attended by Mayor Adanech Abebe, Chief Executive of Kirkos Sub-city Mubarak Kemal, Head of the Food Agency, Shatayu Mohammed, and other stakeholders.

At the same time, the Ministry of Health shared a meal for the elderly in the Macedonian Charity Association on the occasion of Christmas.

The ministry's senior leaders and officials also visited the sick and elderly in the Macedonian Charity Association.

Health Minister Dr. Lia Tadese, Health Minister Dr. Derje Duguma, heads of Alert, Black Lion, St. Paulus, Tirunesh and other public and private hospitals attended the program.
