Ethiopian Commercial Bank was awarded a special award for being a loyal taxpayer.

In 2014, the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia was awarded the Platinum level as the leading loyal taxpayer, and for the third time in a row, it was awarded the Platinum level as the highest taxpayer.

On October 10, 2015, at the fourth round of federal tax payers recognition and award ceremony held at Sheraton Addis Hotel, the bank's vice president, Ephraim Mekuria, attended and received the bank's award.

Honorable Sahlework Zewde, President of the Federi, who recognized and rewarded the loyal taxpayers by attending the program, expressed his gratitude to the taxpayers who faithfully performed their national duties.

The Minister of Revenue, Ms. Ainalem Nguse, said, "Honest taxpayers, by paying your taxes honestly and on time, the impact you are making on the overall development of our country is great and generations will always remember it, so you should continue to strengthen it."

The Commercial Bank of Ethiopia stated that it is working on areas that are important for the development and growth of the country and the people.
