Selam Tesfaye was the first guest of the meet and greet Addis program which was held at Sheraton hotel. The attendees of the program were charged a modest fee of 2500 birr. It seems a bit expensive but also it was an opportunity for some of them to meet a celebrity they admired in person and have some good time with her.

Selam Tesfaye is a mother of a baby boy. She was emotional in her speech about the recent movie released by her team and the challenges they passed through to finalize it.

Ethiopia earns 2.52 billion USD from export over the past eight months, according to the Ministry of Trade and Regional Cooperation.

The House of Peoples' Representatives reviewed the implementation of the eight-month plan by the Ministry of Trade and Regional Relations at its fifth regular session.

Minister of Trade and Regional Relations, Gebremeskel Chala, who presented the performance report to the council, said the country has earned 2.52 billion USD from export trade in the past eight months.

He recalled that the sector had planned to generate 2.77 billion USD in the past months, but 91 percent of the plan has been achieved.

He said the government earned 1.75 billion USD from agriculture, $ 320.9 million from the industrial sector, $ 389 million from the mining sector and 2.5 billion USD from other sectors.

According to ENA, the revenue has increased by 20 percent compared to the same period last year.
