The new curriculum for classes 9 and 10 will be piloted in 2015.

The Addis Ababa Education Bureau has announced that the trial implementation of the new curriculum for the 9th and 10th grade will begin in selected secondary schools in 2015. Curriculum Enhancement Executive Director Dr. Tewodros Shewargek told Bisrat Radio that the new curriculum preparation has passed several stages and reached the trial implementation.

The Executive Director stated that selected teaching centers of excellence, universities and Cambridge University participated as consultants in the curriculum preparation.

Therefore, it is said that many inputs will be collected from teachers and stakeholders during this trial implementation and it will be released on the website for parents and others to comment on.
