Bonga University's agricultural works are exemplary - Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed

Addis Ababa, October 12, Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed said that the agricultural works that Bonga University is doing in connection with the teaching and learning process are exemplary.

The Prime Minister visited Bonga University's agricultural operations during his stay in the South West region.

In a message on his social networking page about his visit, he stated that the university is producing teff, coffee, various fruits and dairy products using varieties improved through research.

He also pointed out that he is doing animal and fish breeding.

Prime Minister Abiy also said that he is conducting research on medicinal plants, which will benefit the university and the local community.

He also pointed out that the agricultural activities carried out by the university demonstrate the effective use of available supplies and resources.
