The 10th Ordinary Session of the Basin Council was held

The Ministry of Water and Energy announced that it has reviewed the overall work done in 2013 during the 10th regular session of the Basin Council.

Discusses the council's water and energy basin development works, pre-flood protection, green fingerprinting works, weed control and watershed plans and the basin council establishment proclamation.

The meeting was chaired by Demeke Mekonnen, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Dr. Habtamu Itefa, Minister of Water and Energy.

409 Ethiopians, including 211 children, return home from Jeddah

Efforts to repatriate citizens in distress in Saudi Arabia have intensified.

Accordingly, 409 citizens returned from Jeddah on the second flight today, 211 of whom were children and the remaining 198 were women.

On the first flight today, 441 people returned from Jeddah.
