The process of national consultation, which will enable us to significantly address the political challenges of the past and lay the foundations for our future, can be seen as a golden opportunity in our hands today. If we forget that gold is a product of hard work and history, we can easily lose it. On the contrary, if we treat it like a pearl, it will be costly and a turning point in history. It creates an opportunity for our children to say, "Our country has reached this heights because our ancestors did this."

For the inclusive national consultation to be successful, the process must be credible. This will happen when we can all support, strengthen and strengthen the Consultative Commission, which oversees the consultation process. Staying on the sidelines in this regard is a shameful act in the eyes of history. Contributing to the consultation process by all parties contributing to the consultation process ensures that participation in one event does not exempt from historical responsibility.

The Consultative Commission, set up by the government to the lower echelons of government, will continue to provide all necessary support to ensure its efficiency. State governments must, with sincerity, ownership and historical responsibility, provide the necessary inputs for the work of the Commission and create a conducive environment for its work. I humbly ask that the competing parties not only participate in the discussion but also as the owner of the process do all that is necessary for the efficiency and success of the process.

Scholars: I urge you to be an active participant in the process and to contribute significantly to our historic journey and our momentum. Religious leaders and elders, at this juncture when the country is in need of an agreement, you must be moderate in all respects and I humbly ask you to fulfill your national duty by supporting the forum.

The responsibility of all falls on the shoulders of the nation and the people. We must all deal with our differences in a responsible way. I respectfully request that all Ethiopians support, participate, honor and pray with the Commission as the result of the unpopular and unpopular movement.
