Kenya won the women's 1500m final at the 33rd Paris Olympics.

Kenyan athlete Faiz Kipyego won the competition, breaking the Olympic record.

Australia's Jessica Hull was second and England's Georgia Bell was third and won silver and bronze medals.

The athletes who participated in the competition representing Ethiopia, Derbe Wolteji, finished 4th and Gudaf Tsegai finished 12th.
