1 Peter 5: 7

Suggested:

At the door of the Temple of Jerusalem eight alms-possessors were placed.

Glory be to our Lord Madhanemalem, standing near the Mudaye almshouse on the women's entrance, and in his all-knowing nature, he saw the gift and the heart to which the gift was given.

Some gave for fame, others thought their gift would not disrupt their livelihood.

But a poor widow gave all the two pennies she had in her house and in her hand. Apart from these two coins, she has no real wealth on earth.

At this time, the Lord said, "I tell you the truth, this poor widow threw away more than all of them, because all of them put their profits into God's treasury, but this one threw away all her marriage because of her lack."

This is where our Lord explained the essence of giving this promise in the chapter 21, 1-4 of the Gospel of St. Luke. When everything belongs to him, he begs to give it to me from the one who gave it to him with kindness and generosity.

This widow's giving, impressed by our Lord, tells us a lot. It is not understanding, even our money is God's money for which we ourselves have been paid.

Some of us go astray thinking that if we give, we are missing, but God tells us to give and test me. After all, a gift is from lack, not from gain.

If we don't feel our gift, it means we haven't given it yet. And if we want to gain, let us give in love even from our lack. Let us extend our hands to the monastery and fathers who are spending the winter in a particularly difficult situation.
