6 Digital Installation of Government Institutions will be implemented in 120 days - Ministry

The Ministry of Innovation and Technology has announced that job centers will be set up in six institutions to enable the government to carry out digital work.

The winning bidder will be operated by I-e Network Solutions and has agreed to complete the project within 120 days.

Co-ordination Centers are a state-of-the-art system that allows government jobs to be digitally distributed without interruption, time and space.

The first phase will be implemented by the Ministry of Innovation and Technology, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Education, the Ethiopian Communications Authority and the National Identity Project.

State Minister for Innovation and Technology, Huria Ali, said the Digital 2025 strategy will not be realized without the participation of the private sector.

The State Minister said the development of the Public Service Center is one of the projects being implemented under the Digital Foundation project.

According to information received from the Ministry, the implementation of the second phase will be implemented in 50 government offices and regions as well.

Ministry of Agriculture urges to increase soil fertility by using natural fertilizers

The Ministry of Agriculture stressed the need to increase soil fertility by using natural fertilizers.

The ministry is holding discussions with stakeholders on the use of natural fertilizers.

During the meeting, State Minister of Agriculture, Prof. Iyasu Elias said natural fertilizers should be widely used to reduce the cost of artificial fertilizers.

Research papers on the use of natural fertilizers are being presented and discussed.
