Journalists from Ghana, Cameroon, Niger, South Africa, Rwanda and other countries who are members of the African Union media group, which was established to build the image of Africa, visited the Ethiopian Science Museum.

In his comments after his visit, he said that he saw scientific and creative works in the museum that could contribute to the development of Ethiopia and Africa.

Johnson Kanamujire, who came from Rwanda, said that the Ethiopian Science Museum shows Africa's current status in the field of science and technology and what it is aiming to achieve.

He mentioned that he saw in the museum that Africa is free from dependence on others and is starting to generate scientific innovation results that can lead to progress and prosperity with its own scientists.

The science museum has changed the wrong narrative of Africa as a continent of conflict, poverty and backwardness, and said that it is a testimony to the fact that the continent is witnessing the dawn of hope.

Next, as an African journalist and writer, he said that Africa has the wisdom and ability to solve its own problems through his reports.

The South African journalist Simi Aref said that he saw technological and creative results at the museum that help Ethiopia achieve its journey of prosperity.

He mentioned that this Ethiopian experience should be continental. He said that he will use the museum as a symbol to show the world the success that Africa is achieving in science and other fields.

"The museum is an eye-opener for Africans," said Winnie Musabayana, head of communication at the African Union.

He added that the Ethiopian Science Museum's contribution to correcting the wrong narrative about Africa and the communication work of the African Union is significant.

The chief said that the creative results provided by technology and artificial intelligence will show that Africa is a continent that can bring solutions to its problems.

On the other hand, the journalists visited Unity Park and said that there are many untold stories in the park that can be used as tourist attractions.
