Instructor Abraham Meburu was appointed as FIFA's technical expert

Ethiopia Instructor Abraham Mebratu, who is a CAF Elite instructor and coach of Behar Dar City Football Club, has been appointed as FIFA's technical expert.

Instructor Abraham's work experience as an elite instructor in Africa, as a member of the technical study team and coach in the Africa Cup and similar big competitions, as well as his work experience in Asian and Yemeni football, made him the ideal candidate for the position.

 Thus, he became the first instructor in Ethiopia to be selected by FIFA in this field.

Among the tasks given by FIFA as a technical expert are the development of courses on elite football coaching, youth football, grassroots, technical directors, instructors and football-related topics; Technical consultancy for member countries and continental confederations in football development; Monitoring the football development programs and activities of member countries; This includes the preparation of the new FIFA Technical Development Program and participation in the preparation of necessary documents, as well as performing other tasks under the FIFA Technical Development Department.
