A residential village is to be built

Ethiopia | Selam Health Consultation, Ministry of Health and Gojo Bridge House jointly discussed the results of the construction of the first 10,000 health workers' settlements in the country today, April 10, 2014.

The meeting was attended by State Minister for Health, Dr. Ayele Teshome, and Almaw Gary, CEO of Gojo Bridge House Trading Pvt.

Almaw said Gojo Bridge House Trading Plc has launched three types of construction models based on research and innovation to solve the housing problem in the city.

He said preparations have been made for the development of the project with a joint venture agreement between the city center and private investors.

According to Almaw, a large number of landowners have been registered and an agreement is being implemented as part of the plan to enable them to share their land.

Gojo Bridge is planning to build 100,000 housing units in the next ten years, he said, adding that it will work to accommodate 10,000 health professionals as per the agreement reached today.

Dereje Tulu, owner of Peace Health Consultant and a well-known health journalist on JTV and AfriHealth TV, said the multi-stakeholder contribution was needed to bring today's discussion to the ground.
