Heineken launched a campaign with meter taxis

 

Heineken Ethiopia officially launched the work today at Gazebo Square by posting a message on 50 new metered taxis to create awareness for the public, "Drink appropriately and responsibly - don't drive if you drink."

 

Ato Fqadu Beshah, External Relations and Sustainability Manager of Heineken Ethiopia and Ato Fqadu Hailu General Manager of Addis Meter Taxi were present and announced the start of the campaign.

 

According to Mr. Faqadu Shah, this second campaign of Heineken Ethiopia will last for one year and the message does not promote any kind of drink or who sent the message. He said that when these Addis meter taxis operate in Addis Ababa and outside Addis Ababa, this message will be accessible to 4 million people.

 

In addition, Heineken recalled that he conducted his first campaign for university students under the age of 21 to not be subject to any drink and alcohol by going to Addis Ababa University, Adama University of Science and Technology and Hawassa University in collaboration with an ethical organization called Ashgari to raise awareness among the students not to drink any alcohol in any way.
