The CEO of Industrial Parks Development Corporation, Dr. Fesha Yidesu, said that he will work in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to increase the flow of new foreign investment in industrial parks. 

The CEO of the Corporation discussed with the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Misganu Arga, on the possibility of increasing the flow of foreign investment in industrial parks.

In the discussion, to attract foreign direct investment, to find a market, the chief executive requested that new foreign investors with high experience and potential in pharmaceutical, hi-tech, textile and clothing, agro-processing and related investments invest in parks and free trade zones in different countries.

For this, the corporation has made preliminary preparations in terms of operations and organization to provide better services, he said. 

Minister of State, Ambassador Misganu Arga, on his part, stated that the multifaceted macroeconomic reforms implemented in the country will make Ethiopia more favorable for foreign direct investment. He said that infrastructures in industrial parks are a good opportunity for investment and should be fully utilized. 

The information obtained from the corporation indicates that the minister should cooperate with other stakeholders, including the corporation, by organizing various international bazaars and fairs to take advantage of the good opportunities in the sector.
