In order to answer the development demands of the residents of Dese, the construction of road infrastructure has started at a cost of 788 million birr.

According to the First Deputy Mayor of Dese City Administration, Mr. Samuel Molalani, he said at the launch ceremony; Along with maintaining the peace of the city, various development works are being carried out.

He also pointed out that various infrastructure projects to be built in the city during the fiscal year will cost more than one billion birr.

He explained that strong monitoring and control is being carried out to ensure that the projects that have already been started in the city are completed and ready for use.

The development works will not only help to answer the growing public demand for development in the city, but will also help the city to be preferred for investment.

He also emphasized that the residents of the city should provide proper support for the infrastructure constructions.

Deputy Manager of Dese City Roads Authority Mr. Kebede Mohamed said that among the roads to be built are the preparation of one kilometer of road for asphalt paving, 1.7 kilometers of asphalt paving and others.

He pointed out that the society is showing its participation to speed up the development, starting with border enforcement, and said that strong monitoring and control will be done to ensure that the road is completed on time and in good quality, ESA reported.
