Addis Ababa Peace and Security Administration Office signed a cooperation agreement with various institutions

The Addis Ababa Peace and Security Administration Office has signed a joint agreement with 29 institutions to work together on peace and security issues.

The head of the office Mrs. Lydia Girma signed the agreement with the heads of the institutions.

The Ministry of Peace, Addis Ababa Police Commission, Addis Ababa Revenue Bureau, Addis Ababa Regulation Enforcement Authority, Addis Ababa Assembly of Religious Institutions, Addis Ababa Justice Bureau, Addis Ababa Women and Children Bureau and Civil Registration and Residency Service are among the institutions that signed the agreement.

Mrs. Lydia Girma, head of Addis Ababa City Administration Peace and Security Office said at the same time; Through the effective work done by the office together with the stakeholders, it was possible to establish safe and lasting peace in the city.  

He mentioned that he was able to reduce the crime rate in the capital by 31 percent. They stated that an agreement has been signed with the institutions to continue this good experience.

ESA reported that the agreement will help to make the peace of the city more reliable and sustainable.
