Ethiopia's ambassador to China Tefera said that relations between Ethiopia and China are growing significantly in the fields of diplomacy and economy as well as people-to-people ties.

It is known that Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (Dr.) and First Lady Znash Tayah have entered Beijing, China for an official working visit.

Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (Dr.) discussed ways to strengthen the economic cooperation between the two countries with Chinese Prime Minister Li Qiang on the sidelines of his working visit to China.

Ethiopia's ambassador to China, Tefera Derbe, said that the relationship between China and Ethiopia has grown significantly in the last 30 years.

The ambassador said that the relationship between Ethiopia and China in the field of diplomacy and economy, especially in the fields of investment, trade and tourism, has grown significantly.

He explained that many Ethiopians came to China and benefited from educational opportunities and other fields, which made it possible for people-to-people relations to be strengthened.

ESA reported that China and Ethiopia will work together to promote the same position on bilateral, regional and multi-stage issues for equitable benefits.
