49 of the 55 services provided by the Driver and Vehicle Control Authority started to be handled digitally

The Addis Ababa City Driver and Vehicle Control Authority has given recognition to the stakeholders who worked in coordination with the institution during the fiscal year and to the experts who had better performance.

It has been pointed out that the Addis Ababa City Driver and Vehicle Authority is doing extensive work to serve customers in a better way. 

Ato Desalen Terfe, manager of the Addis Ababa Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority, said that in the last fiscal year, the institution provided services to 1.3 customers. 

He pointed out that the institution has done extensive work especially after reformation to avoid customer complaints.

We are implementing a technology-assisted system to create a comfortable environment for customers, said the manager.

Mr. Yabbal Addis, the head of the Addis Ababa City Transport Office, said that 49 of the 55 services provided by the institution have been converted to digital services.

Accredited experts and stakeholders said that the accreditation program will further improve and encourage the services. 

It has also been pointed out that 49 of the 55 types of services provided by the institution have started to be handled digitally.
