A voice of hope in Debreberhan

It was stated that the projects being done in the city of Debrebarhan, which is bursting with hope in the investment sector, are encouraging.

This was stated by Ahmedin Mohammed (Dr.) who is the coordinator of the urban development sector and the head of the cities and infrastructure office in the Amhara region.

Today, Dr. Ahmedin visited various investment projects in the city together with the leaders of North Shewa Zone and Debrebarhan City Administration.

Following the visit, the official said in a post on his social media page that the large food complex factories in the city in the agro-processing sector have been built and are nearing completion.

He mentioned that Anshet Gypsum Factory, which plays an important role in the development of the construction industry, has started producing more than 600,000 quintals per day.

He noted that the attention paid by the regional and city leadership to services and investment was appreciated by the developers.

On the other hand, the developers raised their request to solve the challenges related to productivity compensation and credit provision.

They stated that they have completed their visit by dividing the work with the leaders present on the issues raised by the developers.

Dr. Ahmadine assured that he will focus on ensuring fast and efficient service, improving supply, increasing quality and efficiency, increasing productivity and creating a coordinated system in order to increase the investment rate of the region.
