A ship loaded with 520 thousand quintals of urea fertilizer has arrived in Djibouti!

#Ethiopia Ethiopian Maritime Transport and Logistics announced that a ship loaded with 520 thousand quintals of urea soil fertilizer has arrived at the port of Djibouti.

He said that a ship carrying an additional 615 thousand quintals of NPS boron is expected to arrive at Djibouti port tomorrow, November 21, 2016.

Thus far, 2 million 84 thousand 685.1 quintals of urea have been transported, according to the data obtained from the Ethiopian Sea Transport and Logistics.

Meanwhile, it is expected that an additional 1 million 130 thousand quintals of NPS will arrive at Boron port by December 3, 2016.

The Ethiopian Agricultural Works Corporation (EGSCO) has disclosed that 2 million 84 thousand 685.1 quintals of urea has been transported in five rounds of the soil fertilizer it purchased from abroad for the 2016/17 crop season until today, November 20, 2016.

Out of this, 1 million 92 thousand 178 quintals of urea were transported from the port of Djibouti to the country and distributed to farmers' unions, he pointed out.

He stated that Ethiopian Sea Transport and Logistics is successfully carrying out the process of transporting soil fertilizer by sea and land and said that the top management of the organization is working tirelessly to ensure that the process of transporting soil is carried out effectively together with the relevant stakeholders.
