An agreement was signed to make Buna a tourism destination

A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between the Ethiopian Coffee and Tea Authority and the Oromia Tourism Commission to make coffee a tourism destination.

The two institutions signed the MoU at the Jimma Agricultural Research Center.

The agreement is said to be aimed at creating a favorable environment for tourists to visit by completing the infrastructure in the areas where coffee is produced in Ethiopia.

It is also stated that coffee has a significant role in increasing foreign exchange by using it for tourism.

Oromia Tourism Commissioner Lelise Duga; He said that by coordinating with the Coffee and Tea Authority, the region's coffee production will be promoted to the world, and the cultural value of coffee will be highlighted and it will be a tourist attraction.
