Abe Sano stated that the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia is working to support the development of local media while visiting the new headquarters of the Ethiopian Broadcasting Corporation (EBC) under construction today.

At the end of his visit, he said that the media plays an important role in supporting the development of our country and the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia is providing the necessary support to ensure the growth of the local media.

Mr. Abe Sano said that the bank has a long-term cooperation and working relationship with ABC. The President, who assured that the same will continue to be strengthened in the future, also said that he was pleased with what he saw during the visit.

The CEO of ABC, Mr. Fisha Yitagesu, said that the construction of the studio is nearing completion. Mr. Fisa explained that the construction took time due to the efforts to use modern media technologies. He stated that his institution's relationship with the bank will continue to be strengthened in the future.

It will be remembered that the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia signed a 200 million birr sponsorship agreement with the Ethiopian Broadcasting Corporation for 10 years.
