Today, August 2, 2016, in the sapling planting program conducted by the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia through the districts in Addis Ababa city, the last 3 districts' officials and employees planted saplings.

The officials and the workers planted saplings together with the local residents at a place called Philip's Permanent Landing in Addis Ababa, Addis City Sub-district/City District 11.

At the same time, the Director of Corporate Communication of the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia, Mr. Alson Asefa, stated that the bank will take care of the saplings planted in different areas with the residents of the area and thanked the local residents who voluntarily participated in today's sapling planting program.

Mercato District Director Shemsu Bargecho said that the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia participates in important activities such as planting saplings for the community to fulfill its social responsibility.

In their message, the directors urged the local community to stand by the bank's side in the care and protection of the saplings and help the planted saplings to bear fruit.

On July 27, 2016, the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia planted saplings in the Bole Mimi Industrial Park at its head office, Yeka, Jamso and Arada Districts, and on July 30, 2016, in the Kilinto Industrial Park through Kirkos, Bole, Wind Phone and Kaliti Districts. .

Today, it was carried out through Merkato, Gulelena and Kolfe districts, and in total, 5 thousand saplings were planted by the bank in Addis Ababa alone.

In addition to the ten districts of Addis Ababa, the sapling planting program is being carried out in all districts outside of Addis Ababa.
