Ambassador Tefera called on Japanese investors to invest in Ethiopia

Addis Ababa, Dec 5 , 2022 Ethiopia's ambassador to Japan, Tefera Dereb, has consulted with heads of 13 companies in Japan about investment options in Ethiopia.

In their discussion, they mentioned that Ethiopia and Japan have long-standing diplomatic relations.

He further explained that the countries should further strengthen their relations and cooperation in the field of trade and investment.

Ambassador Tefera explained to the participants that there are potential and untapped investment options in various sectors in Ethiopia.

In Ethiopia, investment law, incentives, air quality, basic development priority sectors and related issues have also been explained.

The ambassador called on Japanese companies to invest in Ethiopia.

The participants mentioned that they got extensive and useful information about investment options in Ethiopia and indicated that they are interested in making Ethiopia an investment destination in the future.
