The Ministry of Tourism provided support to those affected by the landslide

Ministry of Tourism has provided support of 3 million birr to the people affected by landslides in Geze Gofa District of Gofa Zone.

The support was handed over by the Minister of Tourism, Ambassador Nasise Chali, in Saula, Gofa Zone.

Ambassador Nasise expressed his deep sorrow over the accident and wished comfort to the victims.

He announced that the ministry will continue to help the victims along with the respondent institutions. 

Aklilu Adagne (E/R), Head of Water, Minerals and Energy Bureau of the Southern Ethiopia Region, who received the support, expressed gratitude for the support.
