Global Bank Ethiopia announced in a statement sent to Tikvah Ethiopia that it has completed preparations to build its headquarters in Addis Ababa after changing its name and trademark from the previously known Southern Global Bank.

As a result, the largest building will have more than 50 floors, while the smallest will have more than 12 floors, said Tesfaye Boru (Dr.), CEO of the bank.

The bank added that it has reached 152 branches in Addis Ababa and regional cities and announced that it is working to increase the number of branches to 185 in the new fiscal year.

Tikvah Ethiopia has also heard from the bank that the Global Bank earned 820 million in unadjusted profit in the last financial year. He stated that the total amount of wealth has reached 20 billion birr.
