A trade show focusing on agriculture, food processing and packaging technologies is going to be held

Addis Ababa, a trade show focusing on agriculture, food processing, plastic printing and packaging technologies is going to be held at Millennium Hall in Addis Ababa.

The trade fair will be held for three consecutive days from June 1 to 3, 2015, and it is said that 130 companies from 16 countries will participate.

Prana Events founder and managing director Nabi Lema said in a statement that the trade fair aims to promote sectors involved in the food value chain.

He pointed out that the exchange of experience is mainly related to agricultural production, food and beverage processing, food ingredients and hospitality activities.

He also said that it is where plastic packaging technology and resources are provided in the packaging sector.

He said that the trade fair is an opportunity for individuals and organizations engaged in the sector to create market connections and exchange experiences to update their practices.

Paul Marz, the managing director of Fes Trade Messe, said that this trade show will further encourage Ethiopia's success in the agricultural sector, ESA reported.

He said that the trade fair being held in Ethiopia will create a favorable environment for the sector to grow further.

He mentioned that the trade show will also be held on the Internet, besides the participating countries and companies, it will allow other parties in the sector to network.
