Semere Bariaw received a car gift from his fans and friends.

The 41st city-wide cleaning campaign was held today in different areas from 12:00 am.

According to the released schedule

- A group led by the honorable mayor and the leaders of the sector offices and the leaders of Kebele 09 participated in the work of cleaning the asphalt road from Alai Bede Crossing Asphalt to the Christian Cemetery.

- The leadership of all kebeles carried out the cleaning campaign by coordinating the community in selected places in their kebeles.

- The leaders and members of the police commission have cleaned the asphalt road from the junction to the new tele office.

At the conclusion of the cleaning campaign, the Honorable Mayor Kedir Johar said that the responsibility of maintaining the cleanliness and beauty of the city lies with all the residents of Dredawa and explained that the initiative shown by the residents in cleaning the area in one place is encouraging.

The Honorable Mayor added that although the road widening work done in Kebele in 2009 by removing the containers on the side of the road is good, the work of cleaning the passage on the side of the road should be given attention.

He also reminded that the society should contribute to the effort to create a beautiful clean and comfortable environment by cleaning its own home and work environment.
