A warning was given about Baba story.

Addis Ababa, December 11, 2015 The Ethiopian Coffee and Tea Authority stated that over the past five months, more than 615 million dollars have been earned from coffee products exported to the market.

 

It was also pointed out that by expanding market destinations, it is possible to send coffee to the areas of China and Indonesia.

 

Ethiopian Coffee and Tea Authority Deputy Director General and Head of Marketing Shafi Umar told ESA that more than 109 thousand tons of coffee products were supplied to the foreign market in the last five months.

 

He said that the income of coffee production was 615.4 million dollars, and the income is 100 million dollars more compared to the same period last year.

 

He pointed out that Germany, Saudi Arabia, Belgium, Australia and Japan are among the countries to which the coffee products are sent.

 

He said that by expanding the market destinations, he started exporting coffee to China and Indonesia this year, which contributed significantly to the increase in income.

 

He also stated that plans are being made to earn up to 2 billion dollars by exporting 360 thousand tons of coffee in this fiscal year.

 

Last year, 1.4 billion dollars was earned by exporting 302 thousand tons of coffee to the foreign market, the report recalled.
