#Ethiopia Ovid Group signed an agreement with the Ethiopian Diaspora Association to build 5,000 affordable housing units for the diaspora.

The agreement was signed by the CEO of Ovid Group, Mr. Yonas Tadsena, and the Chairperson of the Ethiopian Diaspora Association, Holy Prince-Seged.

At the same time, Yonas Tadese, CEO of Ovid Group; He stated that his company is doing effective work in the field of home development by introducing new construction alternative technologies.

He said that in order to alleviate the problem of housing supply, which has become a global problem, the government has been contributing to the housing development sector in the last five years.

He explained that he has recently entered into a working agreement with the Addis Ababa city administration to build 60,000 houses in a 70/30 model through a private and government development project.

According to the agreement reached with the Ethiopian Diaspora Association, the group will build 5,000 houses and offer them for sale to the Diaspora.

He pointed out that plans have been made to build and complete the condominiums within three years. He said that the first phase of construction will start soon.

He explained that Ovid Group can complete the projects within the scheduled time frame with the reliability of the construction materials used and the coordinated chain of operations.

He further stated that there is a plan to open a "Mortgage Bank" to finance the construction sector. They mentioned that when the bank comes into operation, it will increase the capacity of their company.

Ethiopian Diaspora Association Chairperson St. Prince-Seged on his part; He stated that the association is working to solve the housing needs of Ethiopians living abroad.

He said that the house construction agreement with Ovid Group aims to solve the housing problem of the diaspora by constructing 5 thousand houses.
