The 17th Nationalities and Peoples' Day will be celebrated in Dredawa Administration from November 7 with various programs - Dredawa Administration Council

 

The Honorable Fethia Aden, the Speaker of the Dredawa Management Council, announced in a press conference today that the 17th Nationalities Day will be celebrated in our administration from November 7, 2015.

 

Mrs. Fethia said that the festival will be celebrated in Dredawa administration in all urban kebeles and rural clusters from November 7 with various programs under the motto "National unity for lasting peace". He stated that there will be various programs by government institutions, civil societies and judicial bodies.

 

According to our administration, the festival will be celebrated in various situations and there will be a discussion forum for women, youth and civil servants. For women: What are the rights granted to women by the constitution? What is the role of women in federal education? There will be symposiums.

 

  In the youth forum: What works have been done for the youth during the change, what is the benefit of the youth for the country? He explained that there is a forum on what should be the role of the youth in the doctrine of federalism, while in the case of civil servants, there will be a broader forum related to the concept of federalism, which states that how every civil servant should serve the people he represents.

 

In the final program, on November 24, there will be various symposia, including blood donation, as it is a year in which we had great achievements like Dredawa in 2014. Fetiya explained. He added that during the visit, he will also visit other projects that have been successfully completed, including the Free Trade Zone.

 

Mrs. Fethia mentioned that this year's National Day was celebrated in a different way than in the past. He said that it is by continuing the works of development, prosperity and inclusion.

 

The speaker mentioned that National Day is a sign of our unity and is of great importance to strengthen our national unity as it is the day when our constitution was approved. Finally, they conveyed their congratulatory message to all the residents of our administration.
