On the second day of the meeting, the training of newly appointed ambassadors focused on Ethiopia's role in the partnership platforms established by Africa with China, India, Russia, America, the European Union and other countries, and the benefits it has gained and expected. 

According to the information we received from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ethiopia's priority issues in its BRICS membership, its active participation and the opportunity to meet were also on the agenda for discussion. 

In addition, ideas were discussed on water diplomacy, water security, fair and reasonable use of the Nile River basin, climate change conferences and Ethiopia's efforts. 

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Taye Atsiksilase, and the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Misganu Arga, chaired the discussions.
