The Ministry of Justice and the respondent institutions carried out various volunteer work in Gambella ****** The leaders and workers of the Ministry of Justice and the institutions responsible to the Ministry have started the renovation of houses for the underprivileged by cleaning and planting saplings in Gambella city. Laihun Yerga, Minister of State for Public Law and Justice Administration at the Ministry of Justice, said that the Ministry of Justice and the respondent institutions are carrying out various voluntary activities to fulfill their social responsibilities. The Minister of State stated that the leaders and employees of the ministry and the respondent institutions are planting more than 10 thousand saplings of different species in the Gambella region under the green footprint program. The Deputy Governor of Gambella Region, Mr. Tenkwai Jok, said that the voluntary work being carried out by the Ministry of Justice and its responsible institutions, including Green Ashara, in the region is exemplary. The Deputy Head of Government conveyed a message that the local community is expected to take care of the planted saplings and deliver them for the intended purpose. Ujulu Luwal, head of the Gambella Regional Agriculture and Natural Resources Development Office, said that out of the 14 million saplings planned to be planted in the region this year, 7 million have been planted so far.
