Juvenile Boxing Competition is over

#Ethiopia Addis Ababa City Administration Boxing Federation, which was held for 5 consecutive days among 168 athletes in 18 stations, has reached the end of the junior boxing evaluation competition at Millennium Hall.

Gold, silver and bronze medals were awarded to boxers who won first to third place in all categories.

It has been stated that the purpose of the competition is to select the city administration and the athletes to be represented in the national level competition.

Addis Ababa City Boxing Federation office head Mr. Girma Tesfaye said that apart from the high competition, the competition gave the athletes an opportunity to gain experience.

Juvenile judging competition is held in nine categories, under 13 years, 15 years, 28 kilos to 60 kilos.

According to the information we received from the Addis Ababa Youth and Sports Bureau, an incentive prize of 500 Birr was given to athletes who won gold in each category.
