#Ethiopia Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Demeke Mekonen had a discussion with African Union Commission Chairman Musa Faki Mahamet today in Niamey, Niger.

The Ethiopian delegation led by Mr. Demeke Mekonon is participating in the special meeting of the African Union, which is being held in Niamey, Niger, under the title of "Africa's industrial development for our country and sustainable industrial growth and expansion of the economic sector".

On the sidelines of the meeting, Mr. Demeke, in his discussion with the chairman of the Union Commission, stated that the role of the African Union was crucial in the peace agreement signed between the Ethiopian government and the HHW in Pretoria, South Africa.
