Ethiopia won gold medals in women's 1,500 and 800 meters

Ethiopia finished the championship as the 1st from Africa.

At the World Indoor Athletics Championship held in Glasgow, Scotland, Ethiopia won gold medals in the women's 1,500 and 800 meters. 

In the championship athlete Tsige Duguma won the gold medal in the women's 800m race with a time of 2:01.90.

In the women's 1,500 meter final race, Freweini Hailu won the gold medal with a time of 4:01.46. 

At the 19th World Indoor Championship, Ethiopia won 2 gold, 1 bronze and 1 silver medals in total and finished 1st in Africa and 5th in the world.
