"I am leaving because I don't want to continue as a member or in charge" - Ato Abebe Akalu

Mr. Abebe Akalu, who founded the Ethiopian Citizens for Social Justice Party (Ezema) and served as the Secretary General of Ezema for 5 years, voluntarily resigned from the party. 

"I don't want to continue as a member or in the position of the party that is being seen every night," he said.

With this, they announced their resignation from the party on July 30, 2016.

on the other hand ; The General Secretary of the Ethiopian People's Revolutionary Party (EPRP) has also announced his resignation from the party.

He said that he has served from a member to an executive officer for the past 3 years and said, "Even though I have made various suggestions to update the organization and allow it to have an appearance that suits the times, the members have not been able to implement it seriously."

With that, he left the party.
