African Children's Day is being celebrated in Addis Ababa

#Ethiopia This year's African Children's Day is being celebrated in Addis Ababa with the motto "Peace, Love, Care and Protection for All Children" for the 32nd time in Ethiopia.

The celebration ceremony was attended by the Minister of Women and Social Affairs, Dr. Ergoge Tesfaye, parliamentary representatives, federal and regional high-ranking officials, children's parliamentary representatives and other relevant stakeholders and partners.

The festival started with the fun performances of the marching band and important messages related to the day are also being conveyed by various parties.

This year's African Children's Day will be celebrated at the African level for the 33rd time under the theme "The Rights of the Child in the Digital Environment" as decided by the African Union.

According to the information obtained from the Ministry of Women and Social Affairs, countries have considered the day with various events, taking into account the provisions of the African Charter on Children's Rights and Security, other legal frameworks and other existing conditions of the continent regarding the safety of children and the use of digital technology.
