The Addis Ababa Trade Bureau has informed ETV that action is being taken against illegal traders who hide products and raise unfair prices following the reform of the macroeconomic policy that has been fully implemented.

Following the amendment, the office has announced that action will be taken against illegal traders who are operating in search of undue benefits and that this will continue.

Similarly, the Amhara Regional Trade and Market Development Office has announced that it has taken action against 30 businesses in three cities that have increased prices unjustly following the reform of the macroeconomic policy.

Stating that the task of first educating and then taking legal and administrative action against traders who engage in this kind of behavior will continue, the office is concerned that others should refrain from such behavior.
