The Prime Minister visited the wheat crop cultivated by eight thousand farmers on 31 thousand hectares in Dugdana Bora district of East Shewa Zone.

The Prime Minister said that the farmers have successfully produced wheat, if we work together, our goal of food security will be achieved, we will overcome our challenges, and our country will develop.

Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed also stated that he visited the farmers who collected their harvest and planted summer irrigated wheat in the Lume district of the zone.

According to the Prime Minister, it is planned to produce wheat on 200 thousand hectares of land in Kuta during the summer season alone.

He said that because we have hardworking hearts and hardworking hands, we will satisfy our country and survive for others.
