Construction of 100,000 houses is about to start.

Addis Ababa city administration has signed with the developers today to build 100 thousand houses through public-private partnership (Public-Private Partnership) in 70/30 principle to address the lack of housing supply, which is the urgent demand of the residents.

This 100,000 house construction project, which will benefit the middle income residents of our city, will be started within two months.

Mayor Adanech Abebe said that the lack of housing supply, which is a long-standing demand of the residents, cannot be answered by the government alone, so we are working to solve the problem by involving honest investors and implementing new procedures.

Mayor Adanech Abebe, who pointed out that the city administration has prepared enough land for the house construction project to be built by public and private partnership, said that the city administration will closely monitor the construction process to ensure the completion of the construction in a short time and to ensure the benefit of our people.
