Tshay Bank announced that it has increased its capital to 5 billion birr

Addis Ababa, December 17, 2022 Sun Bank has announced that it has increased its capital to 5 billion birr within four months of its operation.

Apart from making its services accessible, Tshay Bank also announced that it is doing various works to remain a strong competitor in the banking industry.

The bank held the 1st regular general meeting and 1st emergency general meeting of shareholders.

The signed capital of the bank was increased from 2 billion 867 million 466 thousand birr to 2 billion 162 million 564 thousand birr, increasing the capital to 5 billion birr.

According to Mr. Taye Dibekulu, chairman of the bank's board, the bank has more than 45 branches that provide services.

It was also pointed out that the bank is working to reach 100 branches by the end of the fiscal year and increase the number of customers to 356 thousand.
