Indian breaks Guinness World Record for punching a punching bag for more than 2 days

42-year-old Indian martial arts athlete Sidhu Kishetri broke the Guinness World Record by punching a punching bag for more than 2 days.

United Press International reported that Kishetri hit the training bag for 55 hours and 15 minutes.

The martial arts athlete was required by Guinness World Records to hit the bag at least once every two seconds.

He got a five-minute break every hour, which allowed him to get longer breaks over time.

"I have spent 25 years in martial arts," said Kishetri, who decided to break the record to make his country famous.

“When I got to 8pm, I started feeling sick. But with a strong spirit, I achieved my goal,” said Sidhu Kishetri.

Kishethri broke the world record by five minutes, reports UPI.
