The Ethiopian Industrial Resources Development Organization has announced that it is working to prevent a shortage of oil production for the upcoming New Year. 

The organization has also announced that it is distributing enough edible oil by importing it. 

Mrs. Yergalem Enyew, deputy chief executive of the organization, said that in the first round, more than 2.5 million liters of cooking oil were distributed out of the 7 million liters of edible oil purchased by the Industrial Resources Development Organization. 

He also indicated that the purchase was completed and 42.6 million liters of liquid safflower oil is being imported. 

According to this, out of the 28.4 million liters of edible palm oil purchased for import into the country, yesterday and today 1.2 million liters have entered Andode dry port and are being distributed. 

Mrs. Yergalem Let's have announced that more than 2 million notebooks have been purchased and distributed in the country.
