Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Demeke Mekonen, said that during his stay in Debrebaran today, he made visits that show Ethiopia's challenges and prospects.

In a message posted on his social media page, Mr. Demeke stated that he was looking at the people in Debreberhan who were displaced from their villages due to conflicts in different parts of the country.

Mr. Demeke said that he listened to their problems and advised them for temporary and permanent rehabilitation.

He stressed that we must continue to work to meet the challenges of our country while accepting the interests of conflict traders and extremist terrorist forces.

He said that our challenge is one of our projects that we will overcome permanently and pointed out that he visited knitwear and clothing factories and bottling factories in Deberharan, which have been established by local and foreign investors and created job opportunities for thousands of people.

The Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Foreign Affairs said that we have lost hope of solving our country's problems after seeing the factories that have been widely planted in the historic city of Debre Berhan and the place of light.
