Ethiopian Olympic committee members Dr Ashebir and Derartu have different views regarding their position in the Ethiopian athletics. Famous runner Derartu is open to step down from her position while Dr Ashebir insisted the result we got at Paris Olympic is due to the athletes incompetence rather than his team mismanagement.

A regional education for the next generation movement is taking place

The second round of the education for generation regional movement forum has started in Warabe city at the Central Ethiopia Regional Education Office.

In the program, the Minister of Education Professor Birhanu Nega and the head of the state, Mr. Ashashaw Tase, including the head of the regional education office and other zones; Senior leaders of special districts and districts are participating.  

It was also stated that the activities carried out in the education for generation movement program in the region in the 2016 fiscal year will be discussed at the forum.

It is also known that the work done to achieve the goals started by the Education for the Generation Movement in order to be able to repair the fractures in the education sector is also known to be part of the discussion.

In particular, it is expected that the activities and best practices of pre-primary schools in the fiscal year will be presented and the direction of future activities will be set.

ESA also reported that in order to solve the problems of good governance in the education sector, the office's implementation of efforts to build a strong leadership system will be presented for discussion.
